Plant refit and outage pipework on running steelworks and process sites.
Stripping out and refitting existing plant on live sites, including clarifier pipework replacement and pipework and valve installation inside a shutdown window at British Steel, Scunthorpe.
Refit work has one hard constraint: the plant is running, or it is down for a window that will not move. KBVI strips out and refits existing pipework on live sites and inside shutdowns, planned so the site keeps operating or restarts on the day it was meant to.
On the record at British Steel, Scunthorpe: the BOS plant clarifier, where the clarifier pump pipework in 3 inch and 2.5 inch carbon steel schedule 40 was removed and replaced, and the BOS plant July 2026 outage, where pipework and valves were installed inside the shutdown window. On a coke oven ammonia still, the pipework from the still to the low level pit was replaced. Scunthorpe is home; the steelworks is on the doorstep.
