A plant is a set of lines. Demin water, cooling water, steam, oil, hydraulic, ammonia and argon each have their own material, routing and connections, and on a working site they all have to go in around each other and around whoever else is there. KBVI runs them as one package, threaded and welded, with the HVAC pipework alongside.
At Discovery Park in Kent that meant nearly every pipeline in the plant over two years. At Rolls-Royce in Sheffield it was furnace cooling and HVAC pipework in stainless. The same lines run through biomass plants, steelworks, petro-chem sites and fuel handling.

What buyers ask about hvac and process pipework.
Can you take the whole process package?
Yes. On power generation projects KBVI takes full process pipework packages for EPC contractors, from setting out to handover.
Do you do threaded pipework as well as welded?
Yes. HVAC pipework is threaded and welded as the spec requires, alongside the welded process lines.
What about connecting into plant that is already running?
That is most of the work. Lines are tied into existing plant on live sites, planned around the operator's programme.

Pipework fabrication and installation

Stainless steel pipework and welding
TIG welding on stainless process and cooling lines, including furnace pipework for Rolls-Royce in Sheffield, and hygienic stainless for pharmaceutical and food plant.

Stripping out and refitting existing plant on live sites, including clarifier pipework replacement and pipework and valve installation inside a shutdown window at British Steel, Scunthorpe.
