Job 02 / 6 / BWSC · 2017

New-build 27.8MW biomass power station

Fire mainsProcess linesTwo years on site

Discovery Park in Sandwich is a new-build 27.8MW biomass power station, and KBVI went in for BWSC before any other work could start. The job opened with fire mains and fire suppressant systems. KBVI ran the pipework on site and installed it, prefabricating to drawings and site running the rest. The crew then stayed for two years and worked nearly every pipeline in the plant: ammonia, demin water, cooling water, steam, oil, hydraulic, and the argon fire suppressant lines.
